The Puli is highly intelligent, energetic, and protective of its owners and their property. The breed makes an outstanding sheepdog and watchdog for the farm. The Puli needs vigorous exercises. These dogs tend to be suspicious and aggressive toward strangers if not socialized properly. They are barkers and their corded coat needs special attention. If you are sure you want to deal with all this for the next fifteen or more years, start looking for a reputable breeder from which to obtain Pulis.
